DESCRIPTION: Rocky Mountain Youth Corps is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to job training for young adults based on conservation projects on public lands. RMYC helps youth and young adults make a difference in themselves and their community through meaningful service opportunities, educational experiences, and group recreational activities. RMYC strives to meet the needs of the communities of northwest Colorado by offering long-term healthy lifestyles mentoring for middle school students and summer conservation corps participants. RMYC is one of over 100 member corps of the National Association of Service and Conservation Corps, and is one of ten accredited youth corps of the Colorado Youth Corps Association.
