DESCRIPTION: In 1948, a small group of doctors brought a new idea in healthcare. They discovered that by working together and sharing ideas and resources they could take better care of patients. Thus, the birth of MedClinic Medical Group. In 1990, Catholic Healthcare West, the parent organization of Mercy Healthcare Sacramento, affiliated with MedClinic and formed CHW Medical Foundation which provides medical management services for the physician group. The Foundation¿s belief extends to the physician group and also to the community. Core values of Dignity, Justice, Collaboration, Stewardship, and Excellence are the foundation for MedClinic¿s mission statement ¿Healthcare Excellence with Compassion.¿ This group was formed over fifty years ago and has become a leader in healthcare services in the Sacramento.
