DESCRIPTION: A US company developing testing and monitoring equipment for telephony industry is looking to recruit a person with expertise in ISDN hardware technology, to carry out work for them from India. The company is developing ISDN products - PRI, BRI, T1 and E1, a DSL and an HDSL-2 product. They hope to locate an engineer in India who has some digital experience that can add features to existing products, write code, add GUI, etc. This software engineer should be able to write C and C++. Some examples of what they need are as follows: 1) Change the programming of a switch chip, configure the set-up of switch chip, add an IDSL layer one that shows sync/non-sync, write 4 bytes into the switch chip and GUI that shows when you have sync. 2) Add T1 and E1 Central Office emulation into existing DSL product. 3) Review the ETSI Specifications to make sure that the stack fits the requirements.
