DESCRIPTION: WCSC-TV "Wonderful Charleston South Carolina." That's what our call letters stand for. Channel Five was the first television station in Charleston. In fact WCSC was the first television station in the state of South Carolina! "Five is now alive." Back in 1953, those were the first words uttered on WCSC by our very own Charlie Hall. We¿ve been going strong ever since. Now, nearing our 50th year of operations, Channel Five has a new state of the art studio West of the Ashley, proudly located on Charlie Hall Boulevard. WCSC is part of the Jefferson Pilot Communications family, which has its headquarters Greensboro, North Carolina. | |
