DESCRIPTION: n1982, BROOKSIDE GROUP OF COMPANIES (BFC) was first organized by the HO Family to operate a piggery farm in Tarlac under its first corporation Brookside Farms Corporation. To start the business, the owners purchased a 13-hectare former sugarcane plantation in Bamban, Tarlac as a site for its piggery operations. Brookside Farms Corporation began with just 65 sows. Today, the Brookside Group of Companies has become one of the major players in the livestock industry in the Province of Tarlac. It now boasts of a 2,500 sow level operation with a breeding site in Sto. Rosario, Capas, Tarlac (thru RH Farms Corporation) and a grower facility in Bamban, Tarlac, (thru Brookside Farms Corporation) making it one of the largest commercial swine producers in the Province.
