DESCRIPTION: The International Correspondence Institute or ICI was pioneered by Dr. George Flattery in Springfield, Missouri, U.S.A. in 1967. The Central Office or International Office moved to Brussels, Belgium in 1969. In early part of 2000 the International Office merged with Berean University and is now called Global University, with its present address in Springfield, MO., U.S.A. In 1969, the ministry of ICI began in the Philippines with Rev. Paul Pipkin as National Director. The ministry has continued to grow as a school of independent and extension studies in Bible, Evangelism, and Christian Education, an international school without walls or classrooms. The purpose of ICI is to introduce people of all ages to the person, Jesus Christ, to provide essential Bible teaching, to offer training for Christian ministry, and to publish literatures for Christian growth.
