Company Profile

LCC, Legazpi City, Philippines
Updated: 08/2010

DESCRIPTION:
Liberty Commercial Center (LCC) dates back to its initial venture as a bazaar when the pioneering patriarch of the family, Tan Chu Lim, and his wife, the late Tan Sy Sa, established the company in Tabaco, Albay (now Tabaco City). The involvement of dedicated, professional, and disciplined children led to a steady and dramatic growth through the years and paved the way for the company's expansion through diversification of product lines. Liberty Bazaar later became the Liberty Commercial Center Inc. In 1981, the company opened its branch in Legaspi. In 1989, Legaspi City and Tabaco City, witnessed the enormous expansion and diversification of product lines. Later on, another branch was opened in 1997 in the Bicol capital, Naga City, dubbed as the LCC Central Mall. LCC is the first accredited commercial establishment in the region by the Philippine Association of Supermarkets, Inc. (PASI) and a member of the Philippine Retailer Association (PRA).
