DESCRIPTION: Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) is an autonomous Institute under the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers,Government of India. CIPET Head Quarters was established at Madras in 1968 with UNDP assistance. This is the only institute of its kind in India where all the facilities like design, tooling, processing and testing of Plastics are available under one roof. CIPET caters to the needs of plastic industries through manpower training, processing, design and CAD/CAM/CAE, testing, consultancy, advisory and developmental services. | |
