DESCRIPTION: Assume a leading role in determining capacity, utilization, and capability information. Develop and monitor process development teams. Work with plant operators, mechanics and unit managers to develop and accomplish strategic goals. Act as one of the primary interface with corporate engineering, R&D and outside vendors to ensure the flow of new technology and problem resolution. Update and maintain plant P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams). Prepare, control and implement capital budgets and projects. Responsible for reducing cost and improving quality and operating efficiencies for the plant. Supports the plant safety and environmental programs and helps to ensure regulatory compliance. Manage special capital projects (e.g. waste minimization, product consistency, plant reliability, debottlenecking, profit improvement/cost reduction, and process optimization. | |
