DESCRIPTION: A PROJECT OF THE TRUST FOR CONSERVATION AND INNOVATION, a non-profit registered in the United States, based in San Francisco. CCIF has overseas Offices in Bali, Indonesia and Makati, Philippines. The mission of CCIF is to achieve conservation of the most important and biologically diverse areas in South East Asia and elsewhere through the use of business tools and concepts from the private sector. CCIF focuses on conservation financing across two levels: at the community-based level in the form of economic feasibility study and development of sustainable enterprises; and, at the Marine Protected Area level. | |
