DESCRIPTION: BACKGROUND of TNP+ Tamilnad Network of Positive People (TNP+) was founded by Rama.Pandian with a group of HIV positive people in 1994 and was registered in 1995, manned and run by positive people. TNP+ is affiliated state level network of Indian Network for people living with HIV/AIDS (INP+). TNP+ aims to promote a feeling of belonging and togetherness that fosters self-help. TNP+ also initiated and registered the district level networks in Namakkal, Salem, Erode, Cuddalore, Thiruvallur, Theni, Trichy and Thirunelveli Districts. ¿ First Positive Network in India ¿ State Level Network in Tamil Nadu ¿ Affiliated Network of INP+ ¿ Formed more than 15 District Level Networks in Tamil Nadu ¿ Capacity Building Training for all the District Level Network members in Tamil Nadu. | |
