DESCRIPTION: The District San Mateo County Community College District, one of 72 community college districts in California, is comprised of Skyline College (San Bruno), College of San Mateo (San Mateo), Cañada College (Redwood City) and the central administration building in San Mateo. In addition to its three colleges, the District also operates several community-centered training facilities in San Mateo County which provide residents with a variety of technical services. Cañada College is located in Redwood City, in the Pacific Coast foothills overlooking the San Francisco Bay Peninsula. One of the most convenient and beautiful campuses on the Peninsula. Skyline College opened in 1969 on a 111-acre campus located approximately 15 minutes from San Francisco Airport. College of San Mateo,established in 1922. CSM is the oldest of the three colleges, Currently serving approximately 11,000 day, evening and weekend students. | |
