DESCRIPTION: The Jutarian Community is the largest ICT Community in Malaysia. It is being operated and managed by PINcenter which is a MSC Status Company. As a critical mass of end-users is required to jump-start the K-economy initiatives in Malaysia, the government has contributed RM100 million to create ICT awareness in Malaysia while Celcom, Maxis, Telekom & Jaring are also the joint sponsors for this project. The primary objective therefore is to promote large scale, wide-area usage of computer and online services among ordinary Malaysian citizens in the city, urban and rural through workshops, seminars, talks, competitions, free gifts and subsidies. In Phase 1, corporate members from the public & private sector working in ¿Gotong-Royong¿ spirit will help develop a critical mass of 200,000 online user¿s community in the Klang Valley for the common benefit of everybody. | |
