DESCRIPTION: Juvenile Residential Facility. We provide treatment for male sex offenders age 12-18 through professional and state approved methods. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive holistic competency based restorative program with sex offender specific and individualized treatment, offer family services and provide a therapeutic environment that addresses the safety and security of the youth, staff, and community. Achievement of the following is deemed necessary for successful re-intergration into the community and victims from further sexual assault: Develop the ability to accept full responsibility for the sexual abusive and criminal behavior, develop and demonstrate a sensitivity and understanding of the impact of his behavior on his victim(s), family, and community, Develop and demonstrate empathy, Develop the knowledge,skills,abilities,and desires to prevent relapse, Achieve academic and vocational potential, Develop and demonstrate social skills and social competencies. | |
