DESCRIPTION: The Child Information Systems Administration (CISA) is a partnership between the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) and Deloitte Consulting to create an automated case management system called FACES. CFSA is the District of Columbia government child protection agency, which employs more than 900 social workers and partners with 15 private agencies. FACES is a database designed to support social workers and the Agency in the following: ¿h Case management activities such as writing case plans, documenting visits and writing court reports. -Standardizing policy and practice. -Collecting data to produce outcome based management. -Issuing payment to service providers. FACES has allowed public child welfare agencies (social workers and the supervisors) to collect, process and distribute large amounts of information to a diverse audience. | |
