DESCRIPTION: Children First is dedicated to the prevention & recovery from abuse, neglect, and victimization through education, support, & counseling to children & adults. We also serve those who have not been abused. We work with individuals as young as 2 years of age to the elderly. Children First offers play therapy, individual, marital, family, and group counseling. Some of the groups that we offer are Anger Management for adults, a Juvenile Offender Program, and a Batterer Intervention and Prevention Program. Our counselors are able to work with clients who have a history of depression, anxiety, anger, abuse, psychosis, Personality Disorders, Bipolar, Conduct Disorder, ADHD, Eating Dis., self-mutilation, encopresis, and low self-esteem, to name a few. We are dedicated to helping those who are in need by treating individuals at our facility, in the schools, & at the local abuse shelter. | |
