DESCRIPTION: Since its beginning in 1904, Paradise Valley Hospital has continued its founding mission of providing health care services to the surrounding, diverse communities in San Diego. Besides offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, the hospital is actively involved in improving its community's health through Partners for Prevention, a coalition of concerned citizens who set local health objectives and develop innovative programs to achieve them. The hospital also provides free health education classes and screenings, school partnership programs which provide tutorial assistance and encouragement to local students, and many other programs and services designed to meet the needs of the surrounding community. | |
